Well, it's that time of year again! The busy holiday season. With events and parties, decorating, baking, Christmas shopping, and spending time with friends and family, we quickly run out of time. This manic Monday is no exception for me. I've been baking cookies for our generous neighbors who so kindly offered us the use of their snowblower when ours quit working this weekend. I've also been trying to finalize our Christmas card and have been doing a little online Christmas shopping. It's crazy how the time between December 1st and Christmas always flies by!
We had a fun weekend, but boy was it cold outside. We had planned on finally getting our Christmas tree this weekend, but the temperature never rose above zero, so we decided that it was too cold for us and especially for Drew to be outside cutting down a Christmas tree. Hopefully we can get one tonight. It's just not Christmas without a tree. The temperature today is finally positive, so that's a plus!
This weekend Drew took some Christmas pictures with his grandparents and cousins on Doug's side. They turned out great! All the boys wore matching sweaters and the only girl cousin wore a beautiful Christmas dress. How cute are they!
Hope you're all having a productive Monday too. I better get back at it! Only two more weeks until Christmas!
Oh my, those pictures are adorable!! Good looking crew!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I can't wait to eat some of those cookies! Don't give them ALL away! Merry maniac Christmas season!
